Client Case Study: Ashco, Milton

At Prestige, we recently completed a Fire Door Installation project for Ascho, an existing and valued client located in Milton near Cambridgeshire.

Prestige installed 35 fire doors for Ashco at the assisted living facility to improve the overall fire safety of the building. In the event of a fire, fire doors are vital in protecting the safety of the occupants as they delay and can prevent the spread of fires and protect exit routes for people to leave the building.

Before installation, we used our Onetrace software to plot a detailed floor plan of where the fire doors will be located in the facility. After completion, Prestige generated Ascho a comprehensive report including the details of the installation along with photos of the completed work along with an internationally recognised IFC certificate giving Ascho peace of mind that their doors have been installed by a certified installer.

Ashco remains satisfied with our work and regularly uses our firestopping services across multiple locations across Cambridgeshire as well as fire door surveys recently at The Grand Arcade shopping centre in Cambridge.
