Scope of Work: Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Fire Alarm Intruder alarm and CCTV System
Who was our client?
Salmons Brothers Ltd who were contracted by The Littleport Youth and Community Centre Project to construct a new sustainable youth and community facility in Littleport to provide a safe and secure environment for young people, and a location where outreach work and professional support can be delivered to the community.
The project was funded by the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) which is a charge that can be imposed by local authorities on new development in their area. This charge is then reinvested to deliver the infrastructure that supports new developments and community assets.
What did we do?
We were contacted by Salmons Brothers Ltd (who were the main contractors of the project), to supply and install an addressable fire alarm system including smoke and heat detectors, manual call points and single loop fire alarm panel. We also installed an intruder alarm, and CCTV system with 4 cameras, a monitor and hard drive. The CCTV and intruder system can both be monitored and controlled remotely from an app.
Fire safety security and maintenance
As part of our services, we also plan to carry out regular servicing of the fire safety and security equipment we installed at this new facility.
