We recently met with our long standing customers Time2Vape to install a new CCTV system at their Huntington premises. This system consisted of a 4 channel NVR, 4 new cameras, a hard drive and monitor, allowing for full CCTV coverage of their shop.
One of the key benefits to installing an NVR (Network Video Recorder) is its ability to save high quality video and audio to a harddrive via wifi or ethernet cable. Unlike traditional DVR (Digital video recorder) set ups, NVRs allow for distance between the recorder and the cameras, meaning cameras can be placed wherever they’d be most effective. For Time2Vape, this gave them the chance to spread out their 4 cameras, with one focused directly on the counter and the others able to give a clear view of the rest of the shop. Should this video footage be needed in the future, the installed NVR allows for quick and effective playback.
We work alongside Time2Vape across all 17 of their stores in East Anglia, charged with installing and maintaining their fire and security systems. At the end of 2023, we installed new CCTV systems in their Ely branch and CCTV systems, fire alarms, and intruder alarms at their new HQ facility in Snailwell.
The installation at Huntingdon went smoothly with all products installed and up and running in one day. Time2Vape were thrilled with the results, and the staff have peace of mind that their shop is being protected.
