fire alarm servicing
It is a legal requirement to have your fire alarm system serviced every 6 months to ensure it is working properly. During a fire alarm service, one of our fully qualified engineers will test each detector in the property, check the fire alarm panel for any software updates and carry out any essential remedial works required. Once the service has been carried out, we will provide you with a summary of the work completed and certification that your fire alarm system has been maintained in accordance with BS 5839-1:2017.
Fire alarms should also be tested weekly by the user to ensure there are no issues. If you don’t currently do this or aren’t sure how to, our engineers can show you how to do this simple test each week while they are visiting to service the fire alarm.
Whatever fire detection and alarm system you have on your property, ensuring that all systems are regularly serviced by a trained professional is key to maintaining high levels of safety.
